Time to Get Excited About Biden

Trump has turned living in America into riding a roller coaster. He lies; we lurch from side.

He fires his opponents; we close our eyes in fear for the Constitution.

He mishandles the coronavirus pandemic; we suffer unnecessarily as the cars speed down too fast by ignoring the brakes proposed by medical experts.

A ride that may continue to be exciting for some, has turned deadly for others, and most Republicans are fighting to hang on for their political lives.

We’ve had enough of a leader who flaunts the rules, who thrives on conflict, who hypes up the disgruntled among us.

We need a new conductor; one who knows the terrain because he has been over it many times before; one who cares for our health and safety because he has dealt with tremendous personal loss; one who respects the bounds of decency because of his fundamental goodness.

America needs the calm, steady hand of Joe Biden to bring us back together again.
